How do I calculate a discount?
Use 'What is X% of Y?' with X as the discount percent and Y as the price to get the amount off, then subtract it from the original price.
How is percentage change calculated?
Percentage change is (new − old) ÷ old × 100. A positive result is an increase; a negative result is a decrease.
What if the result has many decimals?
